On the morning of November 4th 2016, Clark J Sayer, Fishers, passed away peacefully at Community Hospital surrounded by his family. He was 74 years old.
Clark was born February 19th, 1942 in Washington DC. He was an only child born to Frederick and Margaret Sayer. He moved to Florida where he graduated High school and earned his BS in Pharmacy at the University of Florida. He then moved to Indianapolis where he worked at Eli Lilly and continued his education, earning his BS in Engineering as well as an MBA. He retired from Eli Lilly after 25 years. As anyone who knew Clark could have guessed, he continued to pursue opportunities with companies both local and global, that enabled him to utilize the skills and knowledge base he acquired during a lifetime of intellectual pursuit.
Clark enjoyed traveling, music, spending time with his family and his cats. It is even rumored that he was quite a dancer. He is survived by his loving wife Debra Brewington, his son Steve (Tina) Sayer and his granddaughter Emma Sayer.
A memorial site has been set up at http://clark.aor.ca
Visitation will be held from 12-2pm on Saturday November 12th at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W Moore Chapel with a service to follow at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Southside Animal Shelter.
